What is ahead for the United States according to the word of Jehovah God. As we begin, lets look at just a handful of the dangerous issues facing America today. Facts takin from today's tv news, local, and world news, radio, newspapers and internet news about the terrible and very dangerous situation that the U.S. now finds itself in. First, lets consider America's mind numbing debt. According to the U.S. Treasury Department the outstanding public debt of the United States has surpass 8 and a half Trillion Dollars. Thats Trillion with a T. Such figures unbelievable to the mind. This amounts to a debt of around 28 thousand dollars for every man, woman, teenager, toddler, and infant alive in the country. And in recent months, that debt has been growing at a rate at almost 2 Billion dollars every single day. Not to mention being out done by the American government. American citizens are carrying more personal debt then ever. In a culture that wants more materialism and literally addicted to consumption. Americans are buying more and more and more things today with money they won't earn for sometime years into the future. Currently, our debts are being increasingly finance by foreign countries. Such as China, Japan, and the nations of Europe. And that leads us to another situation facing the United States. While its relying on foreign nations to increasingly propup its economy, those same foreign nations are increasingly doubting America's value as an investment. A powerful sign of this alarming lack of confidence is the dropping value of the U.S. dollar against other world currencies. We have built our economy around the asumption that the world would continue to believe in the value, and instability of the dollar. And until now, nations and world over have held portions of their own countries monetary reserves in U.S. dollars. But they are beginning to abandon this investment. As the value of the dollar drops, many of our major lenders are beginning to act on their doubt and are dumping the dollars to replace them with more stable and valuable currencies, such as the Europe. Recent news has mentioned countries such as Russia, Sweden, China, South Korea all firmly decreasing their holdings of U.S. dollars, so as to protect themselves from effects of the dollars fall. Which only adds to the speed of its plummet. The days we can depend on other countries to prop up our dollar, and loan the Americans their money, is quickly coming to an end. This calls to mind, another crisis facing the United States. America's growing dependence on other nations. I already mentioned America's dependence on other nations to finance America's debt. And to help prop up the value of our currency. But the United States depend on other nations often unstable nations in a ugly different other ways. Given the recent prices in gasoline these days, the dependence most on people's mind today is our desperate need for other countries oil. Oil is the life blood of the American way of life. According to the U.S. Department Of Energy in the first half of 2006, the United States hungrily used more than 20 million barrels of oil everyday. That is one fourth of all the oil used in the entire world, straight down to America every single day. And more than 60 percent of our oil and fuel currently comes from other countries. In fact, the great amount of oil comes from Opec and the nations of the Middle East. I can tell you one thing. And that is, the future for America will never be the same. And with this war that is going on with Iraq and Afghanistan is just making things much, much more worse. The United States can't straighten out their own problems, much less straighten out some other problems in the Middle East. Support for this war against Iraq and Afghanistan is much more difficult to come by. Meanwhile, the nations effort to stablize the region have shown to the world including America's enemies how quickly America can be spread to thin. And its a war that America can't financially afford. Steven Kozyak an Independent Defense Analysis made this important observation. In a may 2, 2006 report by Voice Of America News, it said: Currently America is paying for this war on its credit card. There are no taxes being raised, there are other programs that are not being cut to pay for this war, and that adds to the federal debt. The Associated Press article in September 10, 2006 begin with a ominous statement. It said: The threat of terrorism against the United States remains chillingly lethal, 5 years after 9/11. And the officials predict another massive attack is not a matter of if, but when. Al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations have vowed to obtain and use Weapns Of Mass Destruction within the United States. Perhaps a so called dirty bomb that would kill many because of contamination, or even a full nuclear detonation in one of American major cities. Can you imagine the devastation that will be brought about by a sudden nuclear detonation in one of our major population centers. Such as New York, Dallas, Los Angeles, Seattle, or Washington DC with the ever increasing availability of nuclear weapons technology, Chemical or Biological weapons, and even ebombs capable of completely destroying a regions of electronics and computer networks. The menu of destruction available to terrorist grows more varied and more devastating with each passing year. More and more the American government is being forced to create contingency plans that includes the sudden deaths of multiple millions of lives. In a attacks on scale that make 9/11 seem like nothing by comparison. This is just a drop in the bucket of whats facing America at this critical time in history. And there is other crisis going on in America and the world. Such as deadly diseases. Like the current bird flu scare has nations all over the world waking up and preparing for disease events that could result in millions of deaths. The cancer, AIDS, and more deadly diseases. Or the threat of natural disasters of all kinds. Disasters of epic proportions. We already seen the devastating effects of Hurricanes and Tornadoes or the threat of drought and famine. In 2004, the United States Geological Survey reported that the drought that had hit the west may have been the worse in 500 years. And much of the United States today is still experiencing severe, even extreme drought conditions. The list goes on. But is there anyway to know for certain what lies ahead for the United States? And more specifically, what's ahead for you and your family? Yes there is. The fact is that Jehovah God's word, the prophecies of your Bible provides us with absolutely reliable guide, not only to what lies ahead, but also what you personally can do about it, to protect your family. Yes we can know what lies ahead because God's word does tell us what lies ahead for the United States. Once the identity of Israel and prophecy is known, to be the United States and the British decendant people's, everything else makes so much sense. And literally one fourth of the Bible biblical prophecy is unlocked to your understanding and comes to life. We read the Bible and begin to realize that America is not the most powerful country in the world because of its, some how superior philosophy or forms of government, rather we have been blessed through the unconditional, physical promises made by Jehovah God. But we also learn that our continue success in the influence and might, is frightenly conditional on the choices we make. For example, we read in Deuteronomy 28:12,13 It says: Jehovah will open up to you his good storehouse, the heavens, to give the rain on your land in its season and to bless every deed of your hand; and you will certainly lend to many nations, while you yourself will not borrow. And Jehovah will indeed put you at the head and not at the tail; and you must come to be only on top, and you will not come to be on the bottom, because you keep obeying the commandments of Jehovah your God, which I am commanding you today to observe and to do. For Example, Jehovah God's word provides clear guidelines concerning sex and marriage. As Paul says in 1 Corinthians 6:9,10 He says: What! Do YOU not know that unrighteous persons will not inherit God’s kingdom? Do not be misled. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor men kept for unnatural purposes, nor men who lie with men, nor thieves, nor greedy persons, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit God’s kingdom. And yet, American society wholeheartedly supports lifestyle of sexual activity without even the pretense of restrant or moral guideline. Pornagraphy once shamefully belonged in dark rooms in the back of buildings, is now everywhere. The Universities are even inviting porn stars to give talks to their students body. Consider as well Americans morbid the determination to slaughter about 1.3 million innocent children every year to the tragedy of abortion. Thats more than one September 11, attack per day. And the United States as a whole continues to ignore the commandments of Jehovah God. His laws, his sabbaths, his holy days. I can go on, but the facts are clear to see. America is beginning to find itself headed towards a date with destiny, and face the judgment thats about to be carried out against the whole United States by Jehovah God and his son the reigning king and our master, Jesus Christ. Lets read what Jehovah said in Deuteronomy 28:15 Jehovah God said: And it must occur that if you will not listen to the voice of Jehovah your God by taking care to do all his commandments and his statutes that I am commanding you today, all these maledictions must also come upon you and overtake you: Continue in Deuteronomy 28:22-24 Jehovah continues to say: Jehovah will strike you with tuberculosis and burning fever and inflammation and feverish heat and the sword and scorching and mildew, and they will certainly pursue you until you have perished. Your skies that are over your head must also become copper, and the earth that is beneath you iron. Jehovah will give powder and dust as the rain of your land. From the heavens it will come down upon you until you have been annihilated. Because of our disobedience we see diseases, war, drought, famine, and strange and violent weather on the horizen. Some of which we already getting a taste. We also see an end in America's military dominance. As the United States learned that it was God who gave the nations victory, and not its own strength and wisdom. Consider this statement made in Deuteronomy 28:43,44 It says: The alien resident who is in your midst will keep ascending higher and higher above you, while you—you will keep descending lower and lower. He will be the one to lend to you, while you—you will not lend to him. He will become the head, while you—you will become the tail. We see that happening today, with the influence of those from outside our boundaries beginning to take a dominate roll in our decisions and judgments. Look at the illegal immigrant movements. Or the growing influence of European port decisions and UN treaties on U.S domestic policy. At a America rule by Americans is becoming less of a reality, and will continue to do so without national repentance. The Bible predicted the enormous black hole of debt that we now see devouring us. And while some temporary fixes maybe put into place, the Bible is clear, that only repentance is going to solve the problem. Otherwise it will only get worse and worse. And our nation will learn the tragic truth of Proverbs 27:7 It say: A soul that is satisfied will tread down comb honey, but to a hungry soul every bitter thing is sweet. Now in the New International Version of the Bible. In Leviticus 26:16 Jehovah said: then I will do this to you: I will bring upon you sudden terror. Did you catch that? I will bring upon you sudden terror. Can we all see that since 9/11, America has now begun an age where terror is appointed over us. The prophecies of the Bible are coming true right in front of our eyes. What else is ahead? Lets continue. I will bring upon you sudden terror, wasting diseases and fever that will destroy your sight and drain away your life. You will plant seed in vain, because your enemies will eat it. Now look ar verses 19,20 It Says: I will break down your stubborn pride and make the sky above you like iron and the ground beneath you like bronze. Your strength will be spent in vain, because your soil will not yield its crops, nor will the trees of the land yield their fruit. Our good land rich and resourses provided by the hand of a loving God, will no longer yeild to us. Changes in weather and environment will make our sky seem hard on us like iron. And our earth seem cold like Bronze. Consider what these verses said in Leviticus 26:31-33 Jehovah said: And I shall indeed give YOUR cities to the sword and lay YOUR sanctuaries desolate, and I shall not smell YOUR restful odors. And I, for my part, will lay the land desolate, and YOUR enemies who are dwelling in it will simply stare in amazement over it. And YOU I shall scatter among the nations, and I will unsheathe a sword after YOU; and YOUR land must become a desolation, and YOUR cities will become a desolate ruin. How bad will it get? Well one indication of how bad it will get, consider one of the prophecies of Ezekiel. We must understand Ezekiel prophesied of things to come for us today. Look what Jehovah God says to us through him in Ezekiel 5:12 He says: A third of you—by the pestilence they will die, and by famine they will come to their end in the midst of you. And another third—by the sword they will fall all around you. And the last third I shall scatter even to every wind, and a sword is what I shall draw out after them. The current population of the United States is about 3 Hundred Million. Can you imagine 1 Hundred Million deaths in the United States do to pestilence, disease and famine. 1 Hundred Million deaths do to war, terrorism, and military conflict. And another 100 Million scattered and in slave among the nations of the earth in fear of their lives. Is that hard for you to comprehend as it is for me to talk about? And yet talk about it we must. The coming judgment on the United States and the world by Jehovah God and Jesus Christ is right at your door step, the great tribulation is right at your door step, and Jehovah's kingdom is right at your door step. Satan and his followers roam the earth and promoting all kinds of conflicts. Jesus told us that just before the actual Second Coming, there will be a period of history in which there will be "great tribulation". He told us, in essence, that it will be the worst thing that will ever happen to the human race. his Words, in Matthew 24:21 & 22 and Mark 13:19 & 20, imply that the events of this period will threaten the extinction of mankind. In order to be completely ready for the Second Coming, you should have a Scripturally accurate understanding of what is going to happen during the Great Tribulation. Things will happen during the Great Tribulation that have never happened before in human history, and that, as Jesus promised, will never happen again afterward. When the Tribulation begins, it's going to be the unsaved and the lukewarm Christians turn to know the full meaning of the wrath of God. Modern evangelicalism preaches a one-sided view of God, emphasizing his love, mercy and forgiveness, but largely ignoring all the Biblical references to his wrath. Your only hope for the Tribulation is to be ready. However, the Bible suggests that relatively few Christians will be. It will be important for you to know what is going to happen. If you do, you will know when it starts that the Tribulation has come. You will know what to expect. This will help you to make it through, spiritually if not physically. The majority of the human race will not make it through physically, and that includes Christians. Some Christians will probably not make it through spiritually, either. That is, they will succumb to the stress of the time and take the Mark of the Beast. This is far more likely to happen to those who enter the Tribulation with false expectations. In the last few years the world has gone from one Earth-shaking crisis to another. Humanity now totters on the brink of unprecedented disaster & chaos. No period has witnessed the escalation of wars as has the 20th Century. The Red Cross has estimated that over 100 million people have been killed in wars since the 20th Century began. Up until 1914, war had never been universal, but in both World War 1 & 2, total war was waged. Since World War II, the war that was supposed to make the world safe for democracy, there have been numerous major wars & hundreds of rebellions & revolutions. The death toll in conflicts since the end of World War II has now topped 23 million. We have become numb to news of atrocities & tortures, mass rape & murder, which show what horrible savagery modern man is still capable of when he is unrestrained by God. Also just before Jehovah brings this evil world to its end, he also predicted Knowledge Increased. Lets read that in Daniel 12:4 It says: And as for you, O Daniel, make secret the words and seal up the book, until the time of the end. Many will rove about, and the true knowledge will become abundant. Knowledge has certainly increased within this generation almost beyond imagination. In fact according to research studies, the total store of human knowledge is now doubling. 80% of all the scientists who have ever lived are alive today. Every minute they add 2000 pages to man's scientific knowledge, and the scientific material they produce every 24 hours would take one person 5 years to read. About a half-million new books are published every year. But even since 1970 computer technology has developed so fast that if the auto industry had developed at the same rate, you would today be able to buy a Rolls Royce for three dollars!...and you could fit eight them on the head of a pin! The most basic building block of computer technology, the transistor, was invented at Bell Labs in 1948. In 1994 a computer chip could hold 3.1 million transistors, more than twice as many as the previous year's model. By the end of the decade, a chip will contain more than a billion transistors. Machines today have become so complicated, only the most highly trained technicians can even understand them. But have all these amazing scientific discoveries & technological breakthroughs made mankind any happier or more civilized? It seems like the more gadgets & luxuries with which man tries to find happiness & satisfaction, the more discontented & miserable he becomes. In our day & age knowledge has certainly increased. But although the so called developed countries such as the U.S. claim to have the most advanced &, expensive educational systems the world has ever known, yet they been turning out the most confused, ignorant &, violent children they ever produced. Also in Matthew 24, in verse 37, Jesus prophesied that as it was in the days of Noah, so shall it be in the days just before He returns." Well, how were things in the days of Noah? And God saw that the wickedness of man was great in the Earth, & that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. The Earth also was corrupt before God, & the Earth was filled with violence Genesis 6:5,11. In the U.S. a teenager shoots his father because he wants to enjoy watching someone bleed to death. In Britain 2 ten year old boys kidnap & brutally murder a toddler. In today's world such horror is becoming common place. It's hard to imagine that even the days of Noah were as violence filled as those in which we are now living. Vietnam. Americans mourn the death of 58,000 of their young men in 8-1/2 years of fighting.But the casualty rate on U.S. city streets is now four times as high. The F.B.I. reports that 24,530 people were murdered in the US in 1994 alone. The US Bureau of Justice Statistics estimates that a whopping 1.1 million violent crimes were committed with guns in 1992. MANY of the victims are teenagers killed by other teenagers who seem to have no concept of the value of life. Society wrings its hands & agonizes why? Behavioral scientists have concluded that one of the main culprits is TV.By the time the average American child is 15 years old, he will have witnessed the violent destruction of more than 35,000 human beings on television, as well as 200,000 other brutal acts of violence. Violence is glorified in America, where the national icons from Sylvester Stalone to Arnold Swartzenegger tend to be men who excel at violence. Movies such as the Rambo and "Terminator series, which have grossed millions of dollars worldwide, illustrate how eager the appetite for violence is in today's world. Children's cartoons today also contain all kinds of sickening violence. Eclipsing The Teenage Ninja Mutant Turtles and "The Simpsons", MTV's "Beavis and Butthead has become a children's favorite. A far cry from the Disney cartoons of a generation ago, Beavis and Butthead routinely torture animals, set fire to furniture and engage in all kinds of abhorrent juvenile behavior. Then there's horror movies. Many pre-teens today watch this type of movie at "gross out" parties with their friends. Video shops report that horror movies are especially popular among 11-to-15-year olds. Also there's rock music videos, many of which romanticize violence, sexual assaults and murder. Between the 7th and 12th grades, the average American teenager will listen to and watch 11,000 hours of rock music more than twice the time they will spend in class. The fruit of all this is that the rock 'n' roll era has seen violent crime increase among young people by over 10,000%. Today In the U.S. alone a violent crime is committed every 25 seconds. Every 9 seconds a home is burglarized. A woman is raped every six minutes. Every 25 minutes someone is murdered. The only comfort in this terrible tide of rising violence is that, according to Bible prophecy, it is yet another unquestionable sign that points to the 2nd Coming of Jesus Christ, when all senseless violence and cruelty will be stopped, and war itself will be abolished. In the beginning Jehovah God warned people that if they disobeyed him they would be subject to his judgement and would suffer death. When they did disobey, Jehovah kept his word. Now comes the time when he will destroy the world and all that is in it. In 2 Peter 3:5-7 Says: For, according to their wish, this fact escapes their notice, that there were heavens from of old and an earth standing compactly out of water and in the midst of water by the word of God, and by those means the world of that time suffered destruction when it was deluged with water. But by the same word the heavens and the earth that are now are stored up for fire and are being reserved to the day of judgment and of destruction of the ungodly men. It is right for Jehovah to destroy the world at his time. You can see in the world today that all of us live only for ourselves, ignoring Jehovah and not caring about him and his opinion.
